Dr. Yusuf MARAŞLI Biography

He was born in 1983 in Oğlakkaya village of Kayseri. After completing his primary and secondary education in Kayseri, he successfully completed his medical faculty education at Samsun Ondokuzmayıs University. He opened a practice close to the university where he graduated and started to work in public hospitals. After a short time, he realized that there was no pharmacy in a town he went to visit, and he realized the problems experienced by the people of the region and closed his office in order to provide services there, and he was assigned to that area on temporary duty, both as a doctor and as a medicine cabinet.

After about 2 years of public service, he went to Izmir for military service. He observed the problems of the nursing home and the residents of the nursing home in a private elderly care home where he fell by chance in Izmir and became interested in "Geriatrics" diseases in order to produce solutions to these problems and contributed to the production of solutions at the ministry level by being in constant communication with the Ministry of Health for 11 years. In fact, he made great efforts to open the first Geriatric hospital in Turkey in his hometown. He has actively provided the health services of many private elderly care homes in Izmir.

During the time he worked in Izmir, he was affected by a foot wound patient who did not heal despite all his efforts, and after the successes he achieved in the treatment of Geriatric diseases, he started to work on the name of producing solutions to wound treatment, then he decided to continue his studies in Istanbul and researched how to find solutions to severe wounds that are very difficult to heal such as diabetic foot wounds and conducted R & D studies on many subjects. Severe wounds caused by severe diabetes on the feet are a nuisance for doctors all over the world, and it has been adopted as a treatment method to cut off a little over the wound because of the damage that the wound will cause to the body, whereas if the wound can be treated, people will not have to cut off their finger, foot or leg.

Dr. Yusuf MARAŞLI has observed that not every patient has the same response to the same treatment after carrying out many treatment methods in order to produce solutions to this problem experienced by more than 200 million diabetics in the world and has determined that a multidisciplinary approach is required by forming a wound treatment team. He started to use personal treatment methods for each patient. Dr. Yusuf MARAŞLI, who has been working on wound treatments for the last 10 years, has achieved serious success in this regard and has started to make his voice heard in many international platforms. People who do not want to cut off their feet and legs in every region of the world have started to come to Turkey for treatment with hope. Dr. Yusuf MARAŞLI established the team by sharing his experiences in wound treatment with the relevant doctors, but since there is no branch of this suffering experienced by 200 million people in the world, he strives to create the wound treatment branch in medicine. Throughout his professional life, he has observed that the current treatment methods are incomplete or inadequate for the problems experienced by people in health and has always strived to produce innovative solutions.
